Christie’s Education is delighted to announce a collaboration with jewellery expert Joanna Hardy. Joanna will offer a series of lectures which focus on fine jewellery and gemstones. Joanna will be taking participants on a magical journey with unparalleled behind the scenes access.

Each course will offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about the history of fine jewellery from Joanna Hardy who has over 30 years of experience in the industry as an independent fine jewellery specialist working with some of the biggest names in the jewellery industry: De Beers, Phillips and Sotheby’s. Joanna is a published author and regular contributor to The Daily Telegraph Luxury Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and a regular specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow.

These unique one day courses are an opportunity to learn from one of the leading jewellery experts in the field who will guide you through the complexities of the jewellery industry and help you acquire a discerning eye for jewels and gems that deserve to be collected and admired.

No previous knowledge or experience is necessary to attend the jewellery masterclasses, just a passion for the subject and an open mind. During these masterclasses there will often be the opportunity to study jewels and gems close up and under the guidance of Joanna’s expert eye you will learn what is needed to make a jewel stand out from the crowd.
